Changing schools can be an anxious time for many students and parents and we endeavour to provide appropriate support for students entering the College at levels other than Year 7. Sometimes, places become available at Years 8 to 10 because of students moving out of Taylors Lakes Secondary College. Due to the structure of the senior timetable, there are also sometimes places available at Years 11 and 12.

 

To apply for a position in Years 8-12 (or into year 7 after the commencement of the school year) you must download and complete the Enrolment Request Application form (or collect one from our General office) and submit it at your earliest convenience with a photocopy of the student's most recent school report.   The form can be emailed 

to enrolment@tlsc.vic.edu.au with the documents requested on the form. You will be contacted by an Assistant Principal to arrange an appointment if a place is available.

Students are enrolled at the college by the following criteria:

 

• students for whom the school is the designated neighbourhood government school

• students who no longer live locally, that have a sibling at the same permanent residence who is attending the school at the same time.

• students seeking enrolment on specific curriculum grounds, where it is not provided by the student’s nearest government school

 

All other students are prioritised by how close their permanent residence is to the college.

Guided tours of the College are a great way to familiarise yourself with the College’s facilities, environment and culture. This is also an opportunity for parents and students to ask questions.  If you would like to organise a tour of the College you can email a request to enrolment@tlsc.vic.edu.au.
