ŠTUDENTSKO VODSTVO

Model študentskega vodstva srednje šole Taylors Lakes študentom ponuja možnost, da se prijavijo za enega od treh portfeljev;

Ti portfelji so v skladu s strateškim načrtom Fakultete - vsi naši cilji so osredotočeni na dosežke študentov, dobro počutje študentov in sodelovanje študentov s skupnostjo ter na kakšen boljši način za dosego teh ciljev kot na pobudo naših študentov. 

Od študentov se zahteva, da izpolnijo prijavnico, ki je del programa študentskega vodenja, in predlagajo portfelj, v katerem želijo delati.

 

Uspeh

 

Študenti bodo skupaj z osebjem načrtovali in razvijali visokokakovosten učni načrt, naloge in ocenjevalne naloge. To delo se bo osredotočilo na iskanje načinov za vključevanje študentov vseh sposobnosti v učenje, za vključitev v način oblikovanja in strukturiranja pouka v skladu z učnim modelom fakultete, za razmislek in za posredovanje povratnih informacij, nasvetov in predlogov v zvezi z ocenjevanjem ter zagotoviti vpogled in praktično uporabo strategij in nalog, ki delujejo ali za katere menijo, da bodo delovale v razredu. Študenti bodo morali obiskovati sestanke z osebjem, vključno s sestanki študentskega učenja, ter iskati poglede in prispevke svoje kohorte, da oblikujejo način poučevanja in učenja na srednji šoli Taylors Lakes. Študenti bodo dobili vpogled v dogajanje v zakulisju poučevanja in učenja ter bodo skupaj z osebjem pozitivno vplivali na smer poučevanja in učenja na Visoki šoli.  

 

Dobro počutje

 

Študenti bodo imeli priložnost analizirati podatke, zbrane iz različnih virov, vključno s podatki o mnenju študentov, staršev in skupnosti, prav tako pa si bodo prizadevali zbirati podatke in informacije iz svoje kohorte za raziskovanje, vrednotenje in odločanje o različnih programih, pobudah in priložnosti, ki bi jih lahko ponudili na srednji šoli Taylors Lakes. Učenci bodo skupaj z osebjem načrtovali programe, dneve, dogodke in pobude, namenjene izboljšanju sodelovanja učencev, izboljšanju obiskanosti učencev in izboljšanju užitka učencev v šoli. Učenci bodo sodelovali tudi pri uvajanju, razmisleku in prilagajanju modela podpore za pozitivno vedenje v celotni šoli ter sodelovali z ekipami osebja, vključno s skupinami podšol, pri reševanju vprašanj, kot so prisotnost in uniforma. Študenti bodo svoje vrstnike vodili tudi pri ponovnem zagonu Fakultete za dobro počutje, namenjenem spodbujanju odpornosti in miselnosti rasti.

 

Skupnosti

 

Študenti se bodo povezovali s svojimi kohortami in organizacijami v skupnosti, da bi spodbudili povezave med srednjo šolo Taylors Lakes in širšo skupnostjo. Od učencev se bo pričakovalo tudi načrtovanje, razvoj in izvajanje dni projektov učenja v skupnosti, v okviru katerih bodo učenci sodelovali v vrsti dejavnosti za vzpostavitev tesnejših povezav s šolo ali širšo skupnostjo. Učenci bodo z osebjem sodelovali pri izboljšanju šolskega okolja.

Students will liaise with their cohorts and community organisations to foster links between Taylors Lakes Secondry College and the wider community.

Achievement

 

Students will work with staff to plan and develop high quality curriculum, instruction and assessment tasks. This work will centre upon coming up with ways to engage students of all abilities in their learning, to have input into the way lessons are designed and structured in line with the College’s Instructional Model, to consider and to provide feedback, advice and suggestions regarding assessments and to provide insight and practical application of the strategies and tasks that work or that they think will work in the classroom. Students will be asked to attend meetings with staff, including Student Learning meetings, and seek the views and input of their cohort to shape the way we teach and learn at Taylors Lakes Secondary College. Students will gain insight into what goes on behind-the-scenes of teaching and learning and will work with staff to positively impact the direction of teaching and learning at the College. 

 

Wellbeing

 

Students will have the opportunity to analyse data gathered from a range of sources, including student, parent and community opinion data, and will also work to gather data and information from their cohort so as to research, evaluate and make decisions about different programs, initiatives and opportunities that could be delivered at Taylors Lakes Secondary College. Students will work with staff to plan programs, days, events and initiatives designed to improve student engagement, improve student attendance and improve student enjoyment at school. Students will also have input into the roll-out, reflection and adaptation of the School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support Model, and will work with staff teams, including the Sub-School Teams, to address issues such as attendance and uniform. Students will also lead their peers in the re-launch of the College’s Wellbeing Model, designed to promote resilience and a growth mindset.

Community

 

Students will liaise with their cohorts and community organisations to foster links between Taylors Lakes Secondary College and the wider community. Students will also be expected to plan, develop and execute Community Learning Project days whereby students participate in a range of activities to build closer links with the school or wider community. Students will work with staff teams to improve the school environment.
