Mae Model Arweinyddiaeth Myfyrwyr Coleg Uwchradd Taylors Lakes yn rhoi cyfle i fyfyrwyr wneud cais am un o dri phortffolio;

Mae'r portffolios hyn yn cyd-fynd â Chynllun Strategol y Coleg - mae ein targedau i gyd yn canolbwyntio ar gyrhaeddiad myfyrwyr, lles myfyrwyr ac ymgysylltiad myfyrwyr â'r gymuned, a pha ffordd well o weithio tuag at y targedau hyn na gyda gyriant ein myfyrwyr. 

Gofynnir i fyfyrwyr lenwi ffurflen gais i fod yn rhan o'r Rhaglen Arweinyddiaeth Myfyrwyr ac enwebu'r portffolio y maent yn dymuno gweithio ynddo.

 

Cyflawniad

 

Bydd myfyrwyr yn gweithio gyda staff i gynllunio a datblygu tasgau cwricwlwm, cyfarwyddyd ac asesu o ansawdd uchel. Bydd y gwaith hwn yn canolbwyntio ar gynnig ffyrdd o ennyn diddordeb myfyrwyr o bob gallu yn eu dysgu, cael mewnbwn i'r ffordd y mae gwersi yn cael eu cynllunio a'u strwythuro yn unol â Model Cyfarwyddiadol y Coleg, i ystyried ac i ddarparu adborth, cyngor ac awgrymiadau ynghylch asesiadau. ac i ddarparu mewnwelediad a chymhwysiad ymarferol o'r strategaethau a'r tasgau sy'n gweithio neu a fydd, yn eu barn hwy, yn gweithio yn yr ystafell ddosbarth. Gofynnir i fyfyrwyr fynychu cyfarfodydd gyda staff, gan gynnwys cyfarfodydd Dysgu Myfyrwyr, a cheisio barn a mewnbwn eu carfan i lunio'r ffordd yr ydym yn addysgu ac yn dysgu yng Ngholeg Uwchradd Llynnoedd Taylors. Bydd myfyrwyr yn cael mewnwelediad i'r hyn sy'n digwydd y tu ôl i'r llenni o addysgu a dysgu a byddant yn gweithio gyda staff i gael effaith gadarnhaol ar gyfeiriad addysgu a dysgu yn y Coleg.  

 

Lles

 

Bydd myfyrwyr yn cael cyfle i ddadansoddi data a gasglwyd o ystod o ffynonellau, gan gynnwys data barn myfyrwyr, rhieni a'r gymuned, a byddant hefyd yn gweithio i gasglu data a gwybodaeth gan eu carfan er mwyn ymchwilio, gwerthuso a gwneud penderfyniadau am wahanol raglenni, mentrau. a chyfleoedd y gellid eu darparu yng Ngholeg Uwchradd Llynnoedd Taylors. Bydd myfyrwyr yn gweithio gyda staff i gynllunio rhaglenni, diwrnodau, digwyddiadau a mentrau sydd wedi'u cynllunio i wella ymgysylltiad myfyrwyr, gwella presenoldeb myfyrwyr a gwella mwynhad myfyrwyr yn yr ysgol. Bydd myfyrwyr hefyd yn cael mewnbwn i gyflwyno, myfyrio ac addasu'r Model Cymorth Ymddygiad Cadarnhaol ar draws yr Ysgol, a byddant yn gweithio gyda thimau staff, gan gynnwys y Timau Is-Ysgol, i fynd i'r afael â materion fel presenoldeb a gwisg. Bydd myfyrwyr hefyd yn arwain eu cyfoedion wrth ail-lansio Model Lles y Coleg, a ddyluniwyd i hyrwyddo gwytnwch a meddylfryd twf.

 

Cymuned

 

Bydd myfyrwyr yn cysylltu â'u carfannau a'u sefydliadau cymunedol i feithrin cysylltiadau rhwng Coleg Uwchradd Llynnoedd Taylors a'r gymuned ehangach. Disgwylir i fyfyrwyr hefyd gynllunio, datblygu a gweithredu diwrnodau Prosiect Dysgu Cymunedol lle mae myfyrwyr yn cymryd rhan mewn ystod o weithgareddau i adeiladu cysylltiadau agosach â'r ysgol neu'r gymuned ehangach. Bydd myfyrwyr yn gweithio gyda thimau staff i wella amgylchedd yr ysgol.

Students will liaise with their cohorts and community organisations to foster links between Taylors Lakes Secondry College and the wider community.

Achievement

 

Students will work with staff to plan and develop high quality curriculum, instruction and assessment tasks. This work will centre upon coming up with ways to engage students of all abilities in their learning, to have input into the way lessons are designed and structured in line with the College’s Instructional Model, to consider and to provide feedback, advice and suggestions regarding assessments and to provide insight and practical application of the strategies and tasks that work or that they think will work in the classroom. Students will be asked to attend meetings with staff, including Student Learning meetings, and seek the views and input of their cohort to shape the way we teach and learn at Taylors Lakes Secondary College. Students will gain insight into what goes on behind-the-scenes of teaching and learning and will work with staff to positively impact the direction of teaching and learning at the College. 

 

Wellbeing

 

Students will have the opportunity to analyse data gathered from a range of sources, including student, parent and community opinion data, and will also work to gather data and information from their cohort so as to research, evaluate and make decisions about different programs, initiatives and opportunities that could be delivered at Taylors Lakes Secondary College. Students will work with staff to plan programs, days, events and initiatives designed to improve student engagement, improve student attendance and improve student enjoyment at school. Students will also have input into the roll-out, reflection and adaptation of the School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support Model, and will work with staff teams, including the Sub-School Teams, to address issues such as attendance and uniform. Students will also lead their peers in the re-launch of the College’s Wellbeing Model, designed to promote resilience and a growth mindset.

Community

 

Students will liaise with their cohorts and community organisations to foster links between Taylors Lakes Secondary College and the wider community. Students will also be expected to plan, develop and execute Community Learning Project days whereby students participate in a range of activities to build closer links with the school or wider community. Students will work with staff teams to improve the school environment.
