We work with students and their families to ensure the right supports are implemented.

문해력 및 수리력 지원

 

우리는 학생이 우리 대학에 등록할 때부터 모든 노력을 기울입니다.  학생의 강점과 학습 개발 측면에서 문제를 식별합니다.  Literacy & Numeracy의 기본 테스트는 우리 작업의 출발점을 제공합니다. 이는 NAPLAN 및 학생의 진도에 따른 학교 평가와 같은 기타 이용 가능한 데이터에 의해 더욱 뒷받침됩니다. 

학습 필요가 확인된 학생들에게 목표 지원을 제공하기 위해 다양한 프로그램이 운영됩니다.  우리는 중학교 및 중학교에서 영어와 수학의 중재 프로그램을 운영합니다.  그룹 문해력 지원(GLS) 및 개인 문해력 지원(ILS) 프로그램도 하위 학교에서 운영됩니다.  이 분야의 숙련된 교사들과 함께 이 프로그램을 지원하는 것 외에도 우리는 집중적으로 읽고 쓰는 능력을 습득하도록 학생들을 돕기 위해 3명의 교육 지원 직원을 고용합니다.

중년 문해력 및 수리력 지원(MYLNS) 프로그램도 대학 전체에서 운영됩니다. 이것은 전문 교사와 함께 DET 지원 프로그램으로 전국 기준 이하의 읽고 쓰는 능력과 수리 능력을 가진 학생들을 지원합니다.

장애 및 장애 학생을 위한 프로그램

 

장애 및 장애가 있는 학생을 위한 프로그램은 자격을 갖춘 특수 교육 교사와 교육 지원 직원 팀이 프로그램에 참여하는 학생들에게 추가 지원을 제공함으로써 잘 지원됩니다.  다양한 학습자를 위한 지원 및 중재 제품군이 있습니다.

  • 추가 요구 사항이 있는 학생을 위한 개별 학습 계획

  • 6학년 학생을 위한 선택적 연장 전환

  • 자격을 갖춘 특수 교육 교사가 운영하는 통합 프로그램

  • NDIS 고객을 위한 평가 및 추가 서비스를 포함하여 민간 계약자를 통한 현장 언어 병리학 및 작업 치료.

  • 장애 학생을 위한 프로그램을 통한 자금 지원을 위한 인지 평가 의뢰

  • 외부 지원을 위한 추천 및 추천

  • 사회 기술 그룹, 규정 학습 영역 및 학습 조직과 같은 기회는 당사의 전문 교사, 관련 건강 및 웰빙 팀이 운영합니다.

  • 수정 및 차별화된 커리큘럼, 해당되는 경우 교사 보조원과 같은 수업 내 지원

  • 학생 지원 그룹 회의

  • 문맹 퇴치 중재

 

우리는 학생들이 학업적으로나 사회 정서적으로 발전할 수 있도록 올바른 지원이 구현되도록 학생 및 그 가족과 협력합니다.

숙제/튜토리얼 세션

​

모든 학생이 이용할 수 있는 주요 지원 옵션은 대학 도서관에서 열리는 숙제/자습서 세션입니다.  이들은 수요일 방과 후 오후 4시까지 중학교 및 중학교에 중점을 두고 운영됩니다.  목요일 방과 후 오후 4시 45분까지 고등학교에 중점을 둡니다. 이 세션에서 많은 교사들이 학생들의 작업을 자발적으로 지원합니다.  또한 도서관은 다음까지 학생이 사용할 수 있습니다.  매일 오후 4시 30분 방과 후에 많은 학생들이 이 시간에 친구들과 세트 작업을 할 기회를 갖습니다.

Program for Students with Disabilities and Impairments

 

Our Program for Students with Disabilities and Impairments is well supported, with a mix of fully qualified Special Education teachers and a team of Education Support Staff to provide additional assistance to students in the program.  We have a suite of supports and interventions for a diverse range of learners:

​

  • Individual Learning Plans for students with additional needs

  • Optional extended transition for Grade 6 students

  • Inclusion Program run by qualified special education teachers

  • Onsite Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy via a private contractor, including assessments, and additional services for NDIS clients.

  • Referrals for cognitive assessments for funding via Program for Students with Disabilities

  • Referrals and recommendations for external supports

  • Opportunities such as Social Skills Groups, Zones of Regulation learning, and Organisation for Learning, run by our specialist teachers, allied health, and wellbeing teams

  • In-class supports such as modified and differentiated curriculum, teachers’ aides where appropriate

  • Student Support Group meetings

  • Literacy Intervention

We work with students and their families to ensure the right supports are implemented, in order for students to make progress both academically and socio-emotionally.

Homework/Tutorial Sessions

​

A key support option available to all students is the Homework/Tutorial Sessions held in the College Library. These operate on Wednesday after school until 4:00 p.m with a junior and middle school emphasis and on Thursday after school until 4:45 p.m with a senior school emphasis. At these sessions, many teachers offer voluntary support to students with their work. In addition, the Library is open for student use until 4:30 p.m each day after school, and many students also take the opportunity to work with friends on set work at these times.
