Mfano wa Uongozi wa Wanafunzi wa Chuo cha Sekondari cha Lakes Lakes huwapa wanafunzi nafasi ya kuomba moja ya portfolio tatu;

Portfolios hizi zinalingana na Mpango Mkakati wa Chuo - malengo yetu yote ni juu ya kufaulu kwa mwanafunzi, ustawi wa wanafunzi na ushiriki wa wanafunzi na jamii, na ni njia gani bora ya kufanya kazi kufikia malengo haya kuliko kwa msukumo wa wanafunzi wetu. 

Wanafunzi wanaulizwa kukamilisha fomu ya kuomba kuwa sehemu ya Programu ya Uongozi wa Wanafunzi na kuteua jalada ambalo wanataka kufanya kazi.

 

Mafanikio

 

Wanafunzi watafanya kazi na wafanyikazi kupanga na kukuza mtaala wa hali ya juu, kazi za kufundishia na tathmini. Kazi hii itajikita katika kupata njia za kuwashirikisha wanafunzi wa uwezo wote katika ujifunzaji wao, kuwa na mchango katika njia ambazo masomo yameundwa na kupangwa kulingana na Mfano wa Mafunzo ya Chuo, kuzingatia na kutoa maoni, ushauri na maoni kuhusu tathmini. na kutoa ufahamu na matumizi ya vitendo ya mikakati na kazi zinazofanya kazi au ambazo wanafikiria zitafanya kazi darasani. Wanafunzi wataulizwa kuhudhuria mikutano na wafanyikazi, pamoja na mikutano ya Kujifunza kwa Wanafunzi, na kutafuta maoni na maoni ya kikundi chao kuunda njia tunayofundisha na kujifunza katika Chuo cha Sekondari cha Maziwa ya Taylor. Wanafunzi watapata ufahamu juu ya kile kinachoendelea nyuma ya pazia la ufundishaji na ujifunzaji na watashirikiana na wafanyikazi kuathiri vyema mwelekeo wa ufundishaji na ujifunzaji katika Chuo.  

 

Ustawi

 

Wanafunzi watapata fursa ya kuchambua data iliyokusanywa kutoka kwa vyanzo anuwai, pamoja na data ya maoni ya mwanafunzi, mzazi na jamii, na pia watafanya kazi kukusanya data na habari kutoka kwa kikundi chao ili kufanya utafiti, kutathmini na kufanya maamuzi juu ya mipango, mipango tofauti na fursa ambazo zinaweza kutolewa katika Chuo cha Sekondari cha Maziwa ya Taylor. Wanafunzi watafanya kazi na wafanyikazi kupanga mipango, siku, hafla na mipango iliyoundwa kuboresha ushiriki wa wanafunzi, kuboresha mahudhurio ya wanafunzi na kuboresha raha ya wanafunzi shuleni. Wanafunzi pia watakuwa na mchango katika kusambaza, kutafakari na kuiboresha Mfano wa Usaidizi wa Tabia Bora kwa Shule nzima, na watafanya kazi na timu za wafanyikazi, pamoja na Timu za Shule Ndogo, kushughulikia maswala kama vile mahudhurio na sare. Wanafunzi pia wataongoza wenzao katika kuzindua tena Mfano wa Ustawi wa Chuo, iliyoundwa iliyoundwa kukuza uthabiti na mawazo ya ukuaji.

 

Jamii

 

Wanafunzi watawasiliana na washirika wao na mashirika ya jamii kukuza uhusiano kati ya Chuo cha Sekondari cha Lakes Lakes na jamii pana. Wanafunzi pia watatarajiwa kupanga, kukuza na kutekeleza siku za Mradi wa Kujifunza Jamii ambapo wanafunzi hushiriki katika shughuli anuwai za kujenga uhusiano wa karibu na shule au jamii pana. Wanafunzi watashirikiana na timu za wafanyikazi kuboresha mazingira ya shule.

Students will liaise with their cohorts and community organisations to foster links between Taylors Lakes Secondry College and the wider community.

Achievement

 

Students will work with staff to plan and develop high quality curriculum, instruction and assessment tasks. This work will centre upon coming up with ways to engage students of all abilities in their learning, to have input into the way lessons are designed and structured in line with the College’s Instructional Model, to consider and to provide feedback, advice and suggestions regarding assessments and to provide insight and practical application of the strategies and tasks that work or that they think will work in the classroom. Students will be asked to attend meetings with staff, including Student Learning meetings, and seek the views and input of their cohort to shape the way we teach and learn at Taylors Lakes Secondary College. Students will gain insight into what goes on behind-the-scenes of teaching and learning and will work with staff to positively impact the direction of teaching and learning at the College. 

 

Wellbeing

 

Students will have the opportunity to analyse data gathered from a range of sources, including student, parent and community opinion data, and will also work to gather data and information from their cohort so as to research, evaluate and make decisions about different programs, initiatives and opportunities that could be delivered at Taylors Lakes Secondary College. Students will work with staff to plan programs, days, events and initiatives designed to improve student engagement, improve student attendance and improve student enjoyment at school. Students will also have input into the roll-out, reflection and adaptation of the School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support Model, and will work with staff teams, including the Sub-School Teams, to address issues such as attendance and uniform. Students will also lead their peers in the re-launch of the College’s Wellbeing Model, designed to promote resilience and a growth mindset.

Community

 

Students will liaise with their cohorts and community organisations to foster links between Taylors Lakes Secondary College and the wider community. Students will also be expected to plan, develop and execute Community Learning Project days whereby students participate in a range of activities to build closer links with the school or wider community. Students will work with staff teams to improve the school environment.
