સાક્ષરતા અને અંકશાસ્ત્ર આધાર

 

અમારી કોલેજમાં કોઈપણ વિદ્યાર્થી નોંધણી કરે ત્યારથી, અમે દરેક પ્રયત્નો કરીએ છીએ  વિદ્યાર્થીઓની શક્તિઓ અને તેમના શિક્ષણના વિકાસની દ્રષ્ટિએ કોઈપણ સમસ્યાઓ ઓળખવા.  સાક્ષરતા અને અંકશાસ્ત્રમાં બેઝલાઇન પરીક્ષણ અમારા કાર્ય માટે પ્રારંભિક બિંદુ પ્રદાન કરે છે. આને અન્ય ઉપલબ્ધ ડેટા જેમ કે નેપ્લાન અને વિદ્યાર્થીની પ્રગતિ સાથે શાળા મૂલ્યાંકન દ્વારા વધુ સમર્થન મળે છે. 

ઓળખાયેલી શીખવાની જરૂરિયાતો ધરાવતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે લક્ષિત સહાય પૂરી પાડવા માટે કાર્યક્રમોની શ્રેણી કાર્યરત છે.  અમે જુનિયર અને મિડલ પેટા શાળાઓમાં અંગ્રેજી અને ગણિત બંનેમાં હસ્તક્ષેપ કાર્યક્રમો ચલાવીએ છીએ.  ગ્રુપ લિટરસી સપોર્ટ (GLS) અને વ્યક્તિગત સાક્ષરતા સપોર્ટ (ILS) કાર્યક્રમો પણ સમગ્ર શાળાઓમાં કાર્યરત છે.  આ વિસ્તારોમાં કુશળ શિક્ષકો સાથે આ કાર્યક્રમને ટેકો આપવા ઉપરાંત, અમે કેન્દ્રિત સાક્ષરતા કૌશલ્ય સંપાદનમાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓને મદદ કરવા માટે ત્રણ એજ્યુકેશન સપોર્ટ સ્ટાફની નિમણૂક કરીએ છીએ.

એક મિડલ યર્સ લિટરસી એન્ડ ન્યૂમેરેસી સપોર્ટ (MYLNS) પ્રોગ્રામ પણ સમગ્ર કોલેજમાં કાર્યરત છે. આ વિશિષ્ટ શિક્ષકો સાથેનો DET સપોર્ટેડ પ્રોગ્રામ છે, જે રાષ્ટ્રીય માપદંડની નીચે સાક્ષરતા અને આંકડાકીય કુશળતા ધરાવતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ટેકો આપે છે.

વિકલાંગ અને નબળા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે કાર્યક્રમ

 

કાર્યક્રમમાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓને વધારાની સહાય પૂરી પાડવા માટે વિકલાંગો અને નબળાઈવાળા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટેનો અમારો કાર્યક્રમ સંપૂર્ણ રીતે લાયક વિશેષ શિક્ષણ શિક્ષકો અને એજ્યુકેશન સપોર્ટ સ્ટાફની ટીમ સાથે સારી રીતે સપોર્ટેડ છે.  અમારી પાસે વિવિધ શ્રેણીના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે સપોર્ટ અને હસ્તક્ષેપોનો સમૂહ છે:

  • વધારાની જરૂરિયાતો ધરાવતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે વ્યક્તિગત શિક્ષણ યોજનાઓ

  • ગ્રેડ 6 ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે વૈકલ્પિક વિસ્તૃત સંક્રમણ

  • લાયક વિશેષ શિક્ષણ શિક્ષકો દ્વારા સંચાલિત સમાવેશ કાર્યક્રમ

  • Contractનસાઈટ સ્પીચ પેથોલોજી અને Theક્યુપેશનલ થેરાપી ખાનગી ઠેકેદાર મારફતે, મૂલ્યાંકન સહિત, અને NDIS ક્લાયન્ટ્સ માટે વધારાની સેવાઓ.

  • વિકલાંગ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે કાર્યક્રમ દ્વારા ભંડોળ માટે જ્ognાનાત્મક મૂલ્યાંકન માટે રેફરલ્સ

  • બાહ્ય સપોર્ટ માટે રેફરલ્સ અને ભલામણો

  • અમારા નિષ્ણાત શિક્ષકો, સંલગ્ન આરોગ્ય અને સુખાકારી ટીમો દ્વારા સંચાલિત સામાજિક કૌશલ્ય જૂથો, નિયમન શિક્ષણના ઝોન અને શિક્ષણ માટે સંગઠન જેવી તકો

  • વર્ગમાં સપોર્ટ કરે છે જેમ કે સંશોધિત અને વિભેદક અભ્યાસક્રમ, શિક્ષકોના સહાયકો જ્યાં યોગ્ય હોય

  • સ્ટુડન્ટ સપોર્ટ ગ્રુપ મીટિંગ્સ

  • સાક્ષરતા હસ્તક્ષેપ

 

અમે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને તેમના પરિવારો સાથે મળીને કામ કરીએ છીએ જેથી યોગ્ય આધાર અમલમાં આવે, જેથી વિદ્યાર્થીઓ શૈક્ષણિક અને સામાજિક-ભાવનાત્મક રીતે પ્રગતિ કરી શકે.

હોમવર્ક/ટ્યુટોરીયલ સત્રો

​

તમામ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે ઉપલબ્ધ ચાવીરૂપ આધાર વિકલ્પ કોલેજ લાઇબ્રેરીમાં યોજાયેલ હોમવર્ક/ટ્યુટોરીયલ સત્રો છે.  આ શાળા પછી બુધવારે સાંજે 4:00 વાગ્યા સુધી જુનિયર અને મિડલ સ્કૂલના ભાર સાથે કાર્ય કરે છે  શાળા પછી ગુરુવારે સાંજે 4:45 સુધી વરિષ્ઠ શાળાના ભાર સાથે. આ સત્રોમાં ઘણા શિક્ષકો વિદ્યાર્થીઓને તેમના કામ સાથે સ્વૈચ્છિક સહાય આપે છે.  વધુમાં, પુસ્તકાલય વિદ્યાર્થીઓના ઉપયોગ માટે ત્યાં સુધી ખુલ્લું છે  શાળા પછી દરરોજ સાંજે 4:30 અને ઘણા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ આ સમયે સેટ વર્ક પર મિત્રો સાથે કામ કરવાની તક પણ લે છે.

Program for Students with Disabilities and Impairments

 

Our Program for Students with Disabilities and Impairments is well supported, with a mix of fully qualified Special Education teachers and a team of Education Support Staff to provide additional assistance to students in the program.  We have a suite of supports and interventions for a diverse range of learners:

​

  • Individual Learning Plans for students with additional needs

  • Optional extended transition for Grade 6 students

  • Inclusion Program run by qualified special education teachers

  • Onsite Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy via a private contractor, including assessments, and additional services for NDIS clients.

  • Referrals for cognitive assessments for funding via Program for Students with Disabilities

  • Referrals and recommendations for external supports

  • Opportunities such as Social Skills Groups, Zones of Regulation learning, and Organisation for Learning, run by our specialist teachers, allied health, and wellbeing teams

  • In-class supports such as modified and differentiated curriculum, teachers’ aides where appropriate

  • Student Support Group meetings

  • Literacy Intervention

We work with students and their families to ensure the right supports are implemented, in order for students to make progress both academically and socio-emotionally.

Homework/Tutorial Sessions

​

A key support option available to all students is the Homework/Tutorial Sessions held in the College Library. These operate on Wednesday after school until 4:00 p.m with a junior and middle school emphasis and on Thursday after school until 4:45 p.m with a senior school emphasis. At these sessions, many teachers offer voluntary support to students with their work. In addition, the Library is open for student use until 4:30 p.m each day after school, and many students also take the opportunity to work with friends on set work at these times.
