We work with students and their families to ensure the right supports are implemented.

የንባብ እና የቁጥር ድጋፍ

 

ማንኛውም ተማሪ በኮሌጅችን ከተመዘገበበት ጊዜ ጀምሮ ማንኛውንም ጥረት እናደርጋለን  ከመማር እድገታቸው አንፃር የተማሪዎችን ጥንካሬዎች እና እንዲሁም ማንኛውንም ጉዳዮችን ለመለየት።  በንባብ እና በቁጥር ውስጥ የመነሻ ሙከራ ለሥራችን መነሻ ነጥብን ይሰጣል። ተማሪው እየገፋ ሲሄድ ይህ እንደ NAPLAN እና የት / ቤት ምዘናዎች ባሉ ሌሎች የሚገኙ መረጃዎች ይደገፋል። 

ተለይተው የሚታወቁ የመማር ፍላጎቶች ላላቸው ተማሪዎች የታለመ ድጋፍ ለመስጠት የተለያዩ መርሃ ግብሮች ይሰራሉ።  በእንግሊዝኛ እና በሂሳብ ውስጥ የጣልቃገብ ፕሮግራሞችን በወጣቶች እና በመካከለኛ ንዑስ ትምህርት ቤቶች ውስጥ እንሰራለን።  የቡድን ማንበብና መጻፍ ድጋፍ (GLS) እና የግለሰብ ማንበብና መጻፍ ድጋፍ (ILS) ፕሮግራሞች እንዲሁ በንዑስ ትምህርት ቤቶች ውስጥ ይሰራሉ።  በእነዚህ አካባቢዎች በሠለጠኑ መምህራን ይህንን ፕሮግራም ከመደገፍ በተጨማሪ ተማሪዎችን በትኩረት ማንበብና መጻፍ ችሎታ ማግኘትን ለመርዳት ሦስት የትምህርት ድጋፍ ሠራተኞችን እንቀጥራለን።

የመካከለኛ ዓመታት የንባብ እና የቁጥር ድጋፍ (MYLNS) መርሃ ግብር በኮሌጁ ውስጥም ይሠራል። ይህ ከብሔራዊ መመዘኛዎች በታች ተማሪዎችን የማንበብ እና የመቁጠር ክህሎቶችን የሚደግፉ በልዩ መምህራን የተደገፈ ፕሮግራም ነው።

የአካል ጉዳተኞች እና የአካል ጉዳተኞች ተማሪዎች ፕሮግራም

 

በፕሮግራሙ ውስጥ ላሉ ተማሪዎች ተጨማሪ ድጋፍ ለመስጠት ሙሉ ብቃት ባላቸው የልዩ ትምህርት መምህራን እና በትምህርት ድጋፍ ሠራተኛ ቡድን የተደባለቀ ፕሮግራማችን ለአካል ጉዳተኞች እና አካል ጉዳተኞች ተማሪዎች በጥሩ ሁኔታ ይደገፋል።  ለተለያዩ የተማሪዎች ክልል የድጋፍ እና ጣልቃ ገብነት ስብስብ አለን።

  • ተጨማሪ ፍላጎቶች ላሏቸው ተማሪዎች የግለሰብ ትምህርት ዕቅዶች

  • ለ 6 ኛ ክፍል ተማሪዎች አማራጭ የተራዘመ ሽግግር

  • በብቃት በልዩ ትምህርት መምህራን የሚመራ የማካተት ፕሮግራም

  • ግምገማዎችን ፣ እና ለ NDIS ደንበኞች ተጨማሪ አገልግሎቶችን በግል ተቋራጭ በኩል በቦታው ላይ የንግግር ፓቶሎጂ እና የሙያ ሕክምና።

  • ለአካል ጉዳተኞች ተማሪዎች በፕሮግራም በኩል የገንዘብ ድጋፍ ለማግኘት የእውቀት (ኮግኒቲቭ) ግምገማዎች ማጣቀሻዎች

  • ለውጭ ድጋፎች ማጣቀሻዎች እና ምክሮች

  • በልዩ ባለሙያ መምህራኖቻችን ፣ በአጋር ጤና እና በደኅንነት ቡድኖች የሚመራው እንደ ማህበራዊ ችሎታዎች ቡድኖች ፣ የደንብ ትምህርት ዞኖች እና የመማር ድርጅት ያሉ ዕድሎች።

  • በክፍል ውስጥ እንደ የተሻሻለ እና የተለየ ሥርዓተ-ትምህርት ፣ አስፈላጊ ሆኖ ሲገኝ የመምህራን ረዳቶች ያሉ ድጋፎች

  • የተማሪ ድጋፍ ቡድን ስብሰባዎች

  • ማንበብና መጻፍ ጣልቃ ገብነት

 

ተማሪዎች በትምህርትም ሆነ በማህበራዊ-በስሜታዊ እድገት እንዲያገኙ ፣ ትክክለኛ ድጋፎች ተግባራዊ እንዲሆኑ ከተማሪዎች እና ከቤተሰቦቻቸው ጋር እንሰራለን።

የቤት ሥራ/አጋዥ ክፍለ -ጊዜዎች

​

ለሁሉም ተማሪዎች የሚገኝ ቁልፍ የድጋፍ አማራጭ በኮሌጅ ቤተመጻሕፍት ውስጥ የተካሄደው የቤት ሥራ/አጋዥ ክፍለ -ጊዜዎች ነው።  እነዚህ ከትምህርት በኋላ ረቡዕ እስከ ምሽቱ 4 00 ድረስ በመለስተኛ እና በመካከለኛ ደረጃ ትምህርት ቤት አጽንዖት በመስጠት እና  ሐሙስ ከትምህርት በኋላ እስከ ምሽቱ 4 45 ድረስ በከፍተኛ ትምህርት ቤት አፅንዖት። በእነዚህ ክፍለ ጊዜዎች ብዙ መምህራን በሥራቸው ለተማሪዎች በፈቃደኝነት ድጋፍ ይሰጣሉ።  በተጨማሪም ፣ ቤተ -መጽሐፍት ለተማሪ አገልግሎት ክፍት ነው  ከትምህርት በኋላ በየቀኑ 4:30 pm እና ብዙ ተማሪዎች እንዲሁ በእነዚህ ጊዜያት በተቀመጠ ሥራ ላይ ከጓደኞቻቸው ጋር ለመስራት እድሉን ይጠቀማሉ።

Program for Students with Disabilities and Impairments

 

Our Program for Students with Disabilities and Impairments is well supported, with a mix of fully qualified Special Education teachers and a team of Education Support Staff to provide additional assistance to students in the program.  We have a suite of supports and interventions for a diverse range of learners:

​

  • Individual Learning Plans for students with additional needs

  • Optional extended transition for Grade 6 students

  • Inclusion Program run by qualified special education teachers

  • Onsite Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy via a private contractor, including assessments, and additional services for NDIS clients.

  • Referrals for cognitive assessments for funding via Program for Students with Disabilities

  • Referrals and recommendations for external supports

  • Opportunities such as Social Skills Groups, Zones of Regulation learning, and Organisation for Learning, run by our specialist teachers, allied health, and wellbeing teams

  • In-class supports such as modified and differentiated curriculum, teachers’ aides where appropriate

  • Student Support Group meetings

  • Literacy Intervention

We work with students and their families to ensure the right supports are implemented, in order for students to make progress both academically and socio-emotionally.

Homework/Tutorial Sessions

​

A key support option available to all students is the Homework/Tutorial Sessions held in the College Library. These operate on Wednesday after school until 4:00 p.m with a junior and middle school emphasis and on Thursday after school until 4:45 p.m with a senior school emphasis. At these sessions, many teachers offer voluntary support to students with their work. In addition, the Library is open for student use until 4:30 p.m each day after school, and many students also take the opportunity to work with friends on set work at these times.
